Sie trifft sich auch wieder mit Rob, der noch immer Gefühle für sie hat, und sie zum groBen Halloween Ball einläd. Aber ein normales Leben ist für Rachel einfach nicht mehr bestimmt. Sie verändert sich zu schnell, und kann nicht mehr kontrollieren, was mit ihrem Körper geschieht. Ihr wird klar, dass sie nicht mehr diesselbe Person ist, die sie einmal war. Nachdem ihr Haus von einem bösartigen Zirkel durchwühlt wurde, werfen ihre Eltern sie aus dem Haus, und nun hat sie keinen Zufluchtsort mehr. In der Zwischenzeit befindet sich Violet auf Rachels Fersen, fest entschlossen Rachel zu benutzen um Benji ausfindig zu machen und ihn zu töten. Benji ist derweilen auf der Suche nach der sagenhaften blauen Tafel, die sie von dem bevorstehenden Krieg bewahren soll. Wenn Rachel herausfindet, in welcher Gefahr sich Benji befindet, weiss sie, dass sie an seiner Seite sein muss.
