Burroughs) The classic work by Harold Norse (1916-2009) that evokes the atmosphere & activities of that legendary time & place, when & where the Beat Generation gathered & flourished. With foreword & texts by WSB; as well as a preface to the German edition by Carl Weissner (1940-2012), the foremost translator of WSB's works into German, translated into English. This is one of 1900 copies in the first softcover edition. One of our favorites, indispensable to any Beat-&-Beyond collection, worthy of reading again & again. In very fine condition with only the slightest rubbing to light-colored background of back cover; lightest wear at thin lower edge of spine; miniscule bumps at lower corners of covers. Interior very fine with only tiny bumps at corners of some page leaves.
