He would never have expected that meeting a girl in the hallway of his hotel would bring him into trouble deeper than he could have thought possible. He struggles to do his best, coming into contact with the quagmire of betting fraud, contract killing and corruption. He is affected by the other side of Fullerstone City, that should not exist in the opinion of the people who run the city, without even knowing. Two short novels from Fullerstone City, a model of a metropolis on the surface, claiming to be free of the scourges of humanity like poverty and crime, but that is just as flawed, corrupt and crime ridden underneath it like any other big town in the world.
