Also principle data of every patient had been taken from the statistic department of Benghazi Medical Center, by their files and what is written including surgical history of the case, operation information, and any health problems that may accompanied to the main problem . This study found that the incidence of surgical site of infection in orthopaedic department in Benghazi Medical Center is 38.7 . And the bacteria that cause surgical site infections are as following : Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aerogenosa, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebseilla spp., Proteus spp., Streptococcus pyogens, Acinetobacter.
