It also acts as an anti-emetic with no emergence phenomenon. However, undesirable side effects such as hypotension and respiratory depression are common with the use of propofol. We hypothesize that when a combination of ketamine and propofol is used, the adverse effects of one drug will be counteracted by the other drug. 152 pp. Englisch.
