The present study was to examine a dietary strategic prevention plan against silica toxicity. We examined Jaggery as a dietary supplement of antioxidants. Jaggery is a natural sweetener made from sugarcane juice (S. officinarum) without the use of any chemicals additives or preservatives. Jaggery contains an enormous wealth of protein, carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals & has been found to have great nutritive and medicinal value. 160 pp. Englisch.
