We used quantitative research approach in that we used instrument close ended questionnaires and data was collected from the students of University of the Punjab, Lahore. Data has been analyzed by use of software SPSS. Data analysis showed that there is a significance difference between language/linguistic factors and social/situational factors. The students switch/mix more due to language and linguistic factors as compared to social and situational factors. 64 pp. Englisch.
