Solving the Matrix of Being is a book that gives a deeper understanding of the nature of man and his purpose on earth from the biblical point of view. The author is aware that books abound on man's nature and purpose on earth and that there are different beliefs on the subject. Many believe, for instance, that man is basically or essentially flesh but has a divine nature as well. In other words, man is dual in nature ---Fleshly and Spiritual. This set of people believe that man is dust and to dust he shall return, therefore, death is inevitable. Others believe that man is purely spiritual and not carnal but still believe in the inevitability of death. To some, the spirit of man leaves the body at death to face eternal judgment which will lead to either heaven or hell fire. To others, the dead remains in the grave until the day of judgment when all will rise to face judgment which will equally lead to heaven or hell. There are however, others who believe in life after death but do not subscribe to the concept of eternal judgment. A good number of them contend that man dies and reincarnates to live out his life on earth and then dies finally to live in a different phase of spirit life. To them the aphorism 'as you sow, so you reap' can only work out through reincarnation. There are still some who say, when we die, we return to the soil and that is all. Life ends. For Christians, the book of Genesis chapters 1 and 2 remain the authority on the dual nature of man. However, some opine that these chapters are an amalgam of two documents issued from different places and were not written by one person not even Moses as commonly believed. That, they represent two different accounts of creation which are not complete in themselves. They cite, as reasons, what they consider contradictions in these chapters. There are serious doubts in some minds as to the true nature of man.
