Ziel dieser Studie war es, die Perspektiven der Interessengruppen auf die Wiedereinführung der Grundschulstruktur im Bezirk Solwezi in der nordwestlichen Provinz Sambia zu untersuchen. Ein deskriptives Umfragestudiendesign wurde in Verbindung mit einem gemischten Ansatz verwendet. 12 Schulleiter, 36 Eltern, 2 NRO-Vertreter und die DEBS wurden gezielt befragt, während 124 Lehrer und 72 Schüler nach dem Zufallsprinzip befragt wurden. Die Schulleiter, PTA-Vorsitzenden, Vertreter von NRO, hochrangige MoE-Beamte und die DEBS wurden eingehenden Interviews unterzogen. Die Schüler wurden einer REA unterzogen, während die Lehrer den Fragebogen beantworteten. Daten aus Fragebögen wurden mit dem SPSS analysiert, während die Interviewdaten thematisch analysiert wurden. Basierend auf den Ansichten der Stakeholder zeigten die Ergebnisse dieser Studie, dass ein grosser Teil der 112 von 124 Lehrern (90%) mit der Änderung der Richtlinien unzufrieden war. Die meisten befragten Schulleiter stellten ebenfalls fest, dass sie als Stakeholder weder konsultiert noch für die Änderung sensibilisiert wurden.
