It was not God calling them home but, based on the Bible evidence, the work of the Devil or demons, an incorrect personal decision or an accident in a world cursed by God due to the disobedience of our first parents. I have discovered from the His Word that God is a good God and He wants nothing but the best for us. Think of it, "What good would it do God to "call someone home" if the very reason for them being here on the earth was to work for His Kingdom? We are here for a reason, to love God, to tell people about Jesus and His salvation message and to do the work of His kingdom. This is impossible unless we are still on the earth.
